Politician Badrudi Usmanov murdered in Chechnya

Politician Badrudi Usmanov, head of a regional department of the Unity party (the State Duma's centrist party), has been killed in Chechnya. The tragedy happened in the regional centre of Kurchaloi early on Tuesday, Colonel Akhmed Dakayev, Deputy Chief of the Chechen Republic's Interior Department (UVD), reported.

According to Dakayev, Usmanov was shot up by unknown persons in his own residence. The victim was a close relative of Ruslan Yamadayev, the Chechen Republic's Commandant.
