30 Guns Seized In Chechnya Over Past 24 Hours

During the past 24 hours, law enforcement agents seized 32 items of firearms, including 2 mortars and 17 grenade launchers, in various locations in Chechnya. The Russian Interior Ministry reported seizing 300 items of various shells, more than 33,000 cartridges, and some 3.5 kg of drugs. 30 mini oil refineries were demolished and 2 homemade explosive devices were disposed of. Nine shooting attacks on federal forces were reported in Chechnya during the same period. Two servicemen were reported killed and three injured in the attacks. One policeman was also reported injured.
