Military operation in Ukraine to be completed in October

The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Alexander Turchynov, stated that the special operation of the Ukrainian army in the east of the country would very likely to be completed in October.

"I hope that in October, this area [of the special operation] would be either eliminated or reduced to a minimum," RIA Novosti quoted Turchynov as saying.

According to the source, early parliamentary elections wold be held in Ukraine by that time. In addition, he said that the government may adjust the area of district electoral commissions in Donbass to give members of district electoral committees a possibility to stay out of zones of danger.

Earlier, Ukrainian president's adviser Oleg Medvedev said that the term of 30 days to form the new coalition was expiring, and the president of Ukraine had a legitimate reason to dissolve the parliament and call early elections to the Verkhovna Rada.
