Three policemen wounded in a blast in Chechnya

An explosion occured near a cannery in Grozny, Chechnya's capital, leaving three policemen wounded, RIA Novosti was told in the Interior Ministry of the Chechen Republic.

According to the Interior Ministry, an unidentified explosive device went off in the early hours of Thursday. " Three police officers who were engaged in engineer prospecting there were wounded and have been rushed to hospital. The condition of the wounded policemen is reportedly grave.

An investigation team is working at the site of the explosion.
