Why was the major spammer of Russia killed?

Head of the "American English Centre" Vardan Kushnir, 35, was killed in Moscow Monday. The organization became notorious for sending advertising material by e-mail. The messages were sent from anonymous temporary addresses and were getting to mailboxes against the will of the recievers.

The public prosecutions office of Moscow's Central administrative district has initiated a case on the matter of murder. According to "Interfax", body of the victim was found the day before on Sadovaya-Karetnaya street, 20, 2nd building.

According to the press service of the Moscow public prosecutions office, personal belongings of Vardan Kushnir were scattered around the scene of the crime and "the atmosphere of the room was disturbed."

The cause of Kushnir's death was ascertained to be closed craniocerebral injury and numerous compound head wounds. Different motives of Vardan Kushnir's murder are being worked out.

It should be mentioned that "The American English Centre" is known widely in the Russian Internet for its mass spam messages.
