Two mineworkers, who had suffered injuries from a methane explosion in the Vorkutinskaya mine in the Komi Republic are in intensive care now. The fire is being extinguished, a source in the Emergencies Ministry of the Russian Federation reported to RosBusinessConsulting. As a result of the accident that happened late on January 13, five miners died and 12 were taken to a hospital with numerous burns. A state commission has begun investigating the reasons of the accident.
