As many as 24 people were killed during an attack on the truck that was carrying  wounded militiamen, correspondent of the St. Petersburg Channel Five, Leonid Muravyov, who witnessed the incident, said.

"The truck was attacked from a grenade launcher. Everyone, who were on board the truck, were killed. I counted 24 people. They tried to help one of the wounded, but he died," the reporter said.

The information about the attack on the truck that was transporting the men, who were wounded during yesterday's battles near the Donetsk airport, was confirmed at the press service of the Donetsk People's Republic. People's Governor Gubarev Paul wrote on his Facebook page: "Right Sector fighters fire their mortars at everything that moves. There are massive civilian casualties. A truck that was transporting the wounded from the airport under the flag of medical care was attacked. According to preliminary data, 35 were killed, 15 were injured."
