Ingushetia's Security Council Secretary killed in his car

Unidentified individuals attacked the VAZ-21099 vehicle, in which Secretary of Ingushetia's Security Council, Ahmed Kotiyev was traveling. The attackers opened fire at the vehicle, killing Kotiyev.

The official was assassinated at 7:30 a.m. on Malgobek-Nazran road, near the village of Nizhniye Achaluki. The driver died on the spot, while the Secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia was injured and then rushed to hospital. However, doctors were unable to help him.
