Three Russian Interior Ministry officers wounded in a clash in Chechnya

Three Russian Interior Ministry officers and one interior serviceman were wounded in a clash in the Vedeno District of Chechnya, RIA was told in the Chechen Interior Ministry on Thursday.

The clash lasted about an hour the day before, during a reconnaissance and search operation in the village of Dargo. Two Mi-24 helicopters were dispatched to provide fire support to the federal force. A militia major and two militia lieutenants and one private of the Interior Troops were wounded. The militants' losses are being assessed.
