Six young people were killed by a train in Ukraine , officials said Monday.
The group of five men and a woman – ages of 17-20 – were hit by a passenger train on Sunday.
The young men were coming home from a night club and wanted to cut they way. The train driver tried to warn them but was unable to stop the train in time.
An investigation into the accident was ordered by President Viktor Yushchenko.
The choice of the city of Helsinki is not incidental as the capital of Finland had hosted US-Soviet negotiations on the limitation of nuclear stockpiles in 1969
