Gunfire erupted outside a popular South Beach restaurant early, leaving two men dead on one of the city's busiest weekends.
The men were shot in front of David's Cafe II near Miami Beach's Lincoln Road around 5:30 a.m., said restaurant manager Bertha Handevadt.
One died at the scene and the other shortly after being taken to a hospital, police said. Both were in their 20s.
Four people were taken into custody after police caught up with a car on the MacArthur Causeway, which links Miami Beach with downtown Miami.
No other information was immediately available. Messages left for a Miami Beach police spokesman were not immediately returned.
