Over 60,000 rifle rounds, 120 grenade-launcher rounds and 8 small arms have been found in three caches laid in the Kurchaloi district of Chechnya.
A spokesman for the RF Interior Ministry told RIA Novosti on Saturday that the caches had been discovered Friday by law enforcers conducting a search operation in the village of Bachi-Yurt.
In all, over the past 24 hours, Interior Ministry servicemen have seized 5 grenade-launchers, 2 machine guns, 7 assault rifles, a hunting gun, an artillery shell, 3 mines, 3 grenades, 120 grenade-launcher rounds, 1.3 kg of explosives and 63,711 rounds of diverse ammunition.
