Russian Foreign Minister's Special Envoy Flies To Middle East

Andrei Vdovin, the Russian Foreign Minister's Special Envoy, heads for the Middle East on Wednesday on the instructions of Igor Ivanov. Further efforts on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict settlement and the resumption of talks is the aim of the trip. "These steps are taken in close coordination with the US co-sponsor of the peace-making process and other international intermediaries, first of all, with the UN and the European Union," the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.
