An operative group of the Emergencies Ministry (MChS) numbering 19 people that arrived from Moscow on Saturday at the site of the tragedy in Grozny on board an Il-76 aircraft started its work there.

According to an official at the Russian Federation MChS PR center, Irina Andrianova, the rubble has almost been cleaned up by now.

The rescuers hope that they will be able to complete all works by the end of the day.

MChS officials noted that the priority task now was to determine who urgently needed medical aid.

The hospitals of Mozdok (North Ossetia), Stavropol (Stavropol territory) and Moscow are ready to receive those seriously wounded.

Reconnaissance is underway on the site, in order to set up a mobile hospital. The 46 doctors who came from Moscow are on their way from Mozdok.

On Friday two trucks loaded with explosives drove through the fence of the House of Government of Chechnya and exploded just near the building.

According to the Russian MChS data, the act of terrorism killed 40 and wounded 152 people. Five persons under the rubble were saved.
