In addition to the terrorist attack on Tashkent, the Uzbek capital, there were several attempts to perform similar actions in Uzbekistan, press secretary of the Uzbek Foreign Minister Ilkhom Zakirov told RIA Novosti.
"This is a planned action masterminded by some organization," he stressed.
"This action continues March 11 tragic events in Madrid and armed raids of Taliban and foreign mercenaries on the Afghan-Pakistani border," the press secretary said.
According to him, some people suspected of involvement in terrorist acts in Tashkent and the Bukhara region were already arrested today.
