Five servicemen killed in terrorist act in Ingushetia

Five servicemen have been killed in a terrorist act in Ingushetia, a North Caucasian republic bordering on Chechnya, the republic's Interior Ministry reported.

According to the ministry, a military KAMAZ truck was blown up when entering the village of Galashki on Tuesday evening.

"The explosion killed five servicemen of the Russian Defence Ministry, one soldier was taken to hospital," RIA Novosti's interlocutor said.

At present the kind of the explosive device is being established, investigation is underway on the scene of the tragedy.

Criminal proceedings under the article "terrorism" have been launched to investigate the explosion.
