Scandal at the Olympics: US volleyball player beat pregnant Greek lady

The member of the US Olympic team in volleyball Clayton Stanley has been arrested in Athens today for beating a pregnant woman, Reuters reported. According to the Athens police, a 26-year-old sportsman started arguing with a motorcycle driver on the street, and punched the Greek man’s wife who was 9 months pregnant.

The charges of inflicting bodily harm to the pregnant woman, offering resistance during the arrest and abusing the policemen have been brought against sportsman Stanley.
