Deputy director general of the Grozneft enterprise, 50-year-old Abdula Arsanukayev was killed in Chechnya, reported the Chechen Interior Ministry.
"The crime was performed early in the morning on Sunday in the village of Katyr-Yurt, Achkhoi-Martan district," reported the ministry spokesman.
According to the Interior Ministry, the house of Arsanukayev was shelled by strangers from automatic weapons. The deputy director general was wounded and died on the spot. The prosecutor's office has launched a criminal case.
