Iraqi President Saddam Hussein is not hiding in any bunkers, said Iraqi Ambassador to Moscow Abbas Khalaf at a press conference in RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
"The Iraqi President is a fighter, a person who is among his people, leading its struggle against the aggressors," the diplomat said, when answering journalists' questions.
Saddam Hussein is "alive and well", though there are people who "would like to see him dead", the Ambassador added.
