Iraqi Army Loses 31 aab and 30 Armored Vehicles

In the course of fighting for the Baghdad Airport, the Iraqi Army lost 31 anti-aircraft batteries and 30 armored vehicles, an Abu-Dhabi satellite channel reported Friday.

According to information released by different Arab TV stations, the US-British coalition forces are currently in control of the airport Saddam, just 20 km away from the center of the Iraqi capital.

The Arab electronic edition Al-Bavvaba claims units of the British task forces SAS and US Delta units entered the city last night. Special air-bombs have been dropped to cut off electricity, and the troops entered the city in the dark, Al-Bavvaba elaborates.
