US Copter Crash in Central Iraq

Two American pilots were killed in a Super Cobra /AH-1W/ helicopter crash in central Iraq on Saturday morning, reports the US Central Command headquarters in Qatar.

The copter was probably hit by the Iraqis. Investigation is underway.

According to unofficial reports, as of late Friday, 67 US servicemen have been killed and 7 captured. Fifty-four US troops have been killed in action and another 13 died in incidents. 154 US soldiers have been wounded.
