Pentagon Chief Donald Rumsfeld has said that the USA would not suspend bombing the Taliban during Ramadan, the sacred month for the Moslems. At the same time at the news conference in Islamabad on the results of his short visit to the Pakistani capital Donald Rumsfeld said that the USA perfectly well understood the delicacy of this problem which causes concern in the Moslem world. The Pentagon chief refused to disclose the details of the USA's further actions in conducting the anti-terrorist operation. He only said that the aim remained the same - to stop terrorists. According to Rumsfeld, the Taliban is no longer a government, though from the military point of view it still exists and continues to hold power. The head of the Pentagon called the present campaign the most cautious among all that had ever been conducted by the United States. He underscored that the USA was doing everything possible to avoid victims among the civilians. The assertions by the Taliban about a thousand and a half killed is a deliberate lie, said Donald Rumsfeld.
