US planes are bombing Taliban's positions close to the Tajik-Afghan border. The border group of Russia's Federal Border Service to Tajikistan reports having seen jet planes moving from inner parts of Afghanistan to an area opposite the Tugul, Shuranisai and Kupleti frontier posts run by the Panj border detachment all day long on Sunday and delivering air strikes on Taliban's strong points situated from 3 to 10 km off the state border. On the same day, the jets were seen bombing the Taliban defence in the neighbourhood of Dashti-Kala, a village opposite the Berkut frontier post run by the Moscow border detachment. According to the FBS press service, Russian border guards have no information concerning losses among Taliban.
