New Internet radio station to improve Russia's image abroad

The Federal Communications Agency (Rossvyaz) and Russian Cooperation will create an Internet radio to acquaint foreigners with Russian culture, history and political life of Russia, the press service of Rossvyaz said.

it was also said that the creation of an online radio station was stipulated in the agreement on cooperation that was signed between the two agencies.

The new communications platform will strengthen the position of the Russian language in all parts of the world where Internet can be accessed. The Internet radio will introduce history, culture, science and politics of Russia to foreign audiences, and will contribute to creating a positive image of Russia abroad.
