Three "phone terrorists" have been detained in Moscow.
Yesterday police detained three students who reported "mines" in their schools, Moscow's main interior department told RIA Novosti on Friday.
So, at 9 a.m. a duty police officer received an anonymous call reporting "a bomb" planted in school 425 in Petrozavodskaya Street. Under an explosion threat all the children and teaching staff were evacuated, however an expert group of cynologists which arrived on the scene detected no explosives. Two and a half hours later "the jokers" were detained. They turned out to be eight-graders of the that school. They explained their act by saying that they hadn't revised for a history test.
A similar incident was reported on Thursday in the south of Moscow. At 10 a.m. a duty police officer received an anonymous call reporting "a bomb" planted in school 534 in Orekhovy Proyezd. All the police task groups arrived on the scene joined by a group of cynologists. No explosives were detected. An hour later the police managed to identify "a phone terrorist," he turned out to be a 13-year old Moscow resident, a student of that school, who called the police from the office of the teaching department head.
yesterday the police reported the total of 20 false explosion alarms in the city. Most of the alleged bombs were planted in school buildings or at bus and railway stations.
