Seven dangerous criminals at large in Krasnodar region

Seven convicts managed to seize weapons and escape from a prison bus while being transferred to prison.

Investigators have made a conclusion that the escape was possible due to the convoy's fault. The bus was carrying 21 convicts. Seven of them, all special dangerous offenders sentenced to long imprisonment, managed to escape. Two of them were members of bandit groups in Chechnya. They took possession of two pistols and opened fire, luckily injuring no civilians around. Then they disappeared in a hijacked car.

In an hour, one of the escapees was captured. Law enforcement officers have blocked all roads and railways in the region, saying the criminals will hardly make it out of the town.
