The international post office in southern Moscow was evacuated Tuesday after a high level of radiation was detected coming from a package.
The package was emitting radiation about 1.5 times higher than normal background level, said ministry spokeswoman Natalia Goncharova; she declined to give a specific figure.
A ministry team was sent to the post office to investigate, the AP reports.
