Larissa Gamov’s health becomes worse

Japanese doctors are alarmed with the state of health of Larissa Gamov, wife of the chief of the Russian Coast Guard Vitaly Gamov who died in the hospital after attack of strangers at his apartment in Sakhalin. Monday early Larissa undergone skin grafting. The operation was performed on the woman’s back and left arm. At that, skin to the back was taken from the donor center, and woman’s own skin was grafted to her left arm.

Larissa’s blood pressure is stable now, however, doctors are alarmed with worsening of her kidney functions. If the condition does not improve, functioning of other viscera may become worse as well.

Artificial kidney and reviving apparatus were connected to Larissa Gamov, who is asleep now under effect of medicines. After the two first operations skin on 60% of the injured zones was grafted.

As of now the investigation insists that the attack at Gamov’s apartment was connected with his work. The other day investigators of the case held first searches at several fishing companies in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The investigation also shares the opinion that the attack was caused by Vitaly Gamov’s professional activity. Head of Russia’s Federal Frontier Service Konstantin Totsky verified the version in an interview to NTV journalists. Investigators say, the chief of the Russian Coast Guard chased poachers who illegally fished fish and crabs, that made poachers very much displeased.

Today news agencies inform, a man suspected of committing the crime has been detained in the Kaliningrad region. The Russian Ministry for Internal Affairs told RosBusinessConsulting today, a 22-year-old man, born in the Kaliningrad region and residing in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, was detained. His name is not published in the interests of the investigation.
