Venezuela: Chaos

Unruly elements rampaged through the streets of Caracas on Monday, causing acts of vandalism and disorder. Such is the behaviour adopted by the anti-Chavez mob, manipulated by a golpista clique with contacts inside the USA, which calls for a plebiscite to destitute the President, who was legally elected two years ago.

While the foreign news agencies concentrate on the anti-Chavez demonstrators, little or nothing is written about the even larger pro-Chavez demonstrations, which are conducted in a more orderly fashion. These protesters claim against the anti-democratic behaviour of the anti-Chavez elements.
