On Tuesday the Union of Russia's Armenians all-Russia public organisation has sent 48 heavy lorries with humanitarian cargo to the Kuban regions (Russia's south), which suffered from the flood.
Trucks with building materials, collected by the regional branches of the Union of Russia's Armenians from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bashkiria, the Perm region (the Urals) and local branches in the Krasnodar territory were sent to the Novokubansky, Uspensky and Armavirsky districts of the territory, the head of the Krasnodar regional branch of the Union of Russia's Armenians, Nairi Oganisyan, said on Tuesday.
This is not the first action, organised by the Union of Russia's Armenians. The union had already sent 27 cars with food products into these regions on July 10.
