"Brigade general of Dudayev's army" arrested in Chechnya

The so-called "brigade general of the Dudayev army" was arrested on Monday, May 6th, in the Selsky district of Grozny. He is a 42-year old dweller of the aforementioned district whose name has not been disclosed for investigation reasons. This information was disclosed on Tuesday by the regional staff for coordinating the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus. The former "general" has organised a powerful criminal group, which was kidnapping people to threaten their relatives who worked in executive bodies. The group is also allegedly responsible for a number of crimes against federal authorities, including murders and terror acts. The warlord has been arrested with other three members of the gang. An investigation into the gang's criminal activities has been launched. The rest of the group has been placed on the wanted list.
