Majority of Russians wants "another life"

The majority of Russian wants "another life", shows the All-Russian poll of urban and rural population conducted by the Obshchestvennoye Mneniye /Public Opinion/ Fund on August 2nd. 1,500 respondents took part in the poll.

70 per cent of the respondents answered positively to the question "Would you like your life to change drastically, to become different?" Among people under 50 the share of those who want changes is even higher, 75 per cent. Those who do not want "a completely different life" are 23 per cent, mainly people with higher education.

38 per cent of the pollees want to "get out of poverty", " to be richer", "to increase the living standards." The main problems are employment /15 per cent/, housing /7 per cent/, good and inexpensive medical care /3 per cent/ and accessible education /2 per cent/.

12 per cent of Russians dream of solving personal and family problems and of "a happy life on the whole." For 6 per cent "another life" means a feeling of stability and confidence in tomorrow.

Certainly readers already know that the Prosecutor's Office of Nanterre has ordered that Marine Le Pen, secretary of the Rassemblement National (former FN) and parliamentary to the Assembly, be submitted to psychiatric examination.
