Russian President Boris Eltsin broke bone

The first president of Russia Boris Eltsin broke a thighbone while being on holidays in Italy.

As Moscow Echo radio station reports, the accident happened at Eltsin’s place of accommodation on Sardinia Island. 74-year-old ex-president was promptly sent to a local hospital.

Doctors at the traumatology department in Porto Rotondo put Eltsin a plaster. It is possible that the ex-president will have to come back to Russia urgently.
