Court unites Khodorkovsky and Lebedev's cases

The Meshchansky Court of Moscow has united the cases of former YUKOS head Mikhail Khodorkovsky and former Menatep head Platon Lebedev. Public prosecutor Dmitry Shokhin supported the motion to unite the cases. "This is a fair and reasonable decision," Khodorkovsky's lawyer Genrikh Padva told journalists. A hearing on the case is scheduled for June 16.

A hearing on Lebedev's case, in the course of which the uniting of the cases will be announced, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Moscow time today.
