Head of Chechen Administration Akhmad Kadyrov Congratulated Veterans on Victory Day

Head of the Chechen Administration Akhmad Kadyrov has congratulated veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the 58th anniversary of the Victory over the Nazi.

As it was disclosed to a RIA Novosti correspondent in the press-service of the Chechen Administration Head, Kadyrov said "that the best sons and daughters of Checheno-Ingushetia fought with honour on the battlefields during the Great Patriotic War." "They have been awarded with medals for their feats of arms. We remember and honour all of them," the Administration Head said.

"I am fully aware that recently the life has not been comfortable for you. All this shock and troubles, which our republic encountered recently, affected all of you as well. Nevertheless, you faced all troubles heroically and remained the best features - military brotherhood, patriotism and active civilian position. "You are continuing to conduct educational work among the new generation of the republic and participate as much as you can in the public life of Chechnya," Kadyrov noted.
