Russia for nuke-free Koreas: Foreign Minister

Russia clings to its previous stance on the North Korean nuclear programme to insist on a nuclear-free status of the Korean peninsula, said Igor Ivanov, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He was addressing a media audience on Pyongyang's latest related statements. A warning came from North Korea's top today that the country has to keep up nuclear deterrence forces - there is no other option unless the USA gives up its policy of enmity and threats.
