Bailiffs seize servers form YUKOS' registrar

Bailiffs are seizing servers from the M Reestr company, the press department of YUKOS reported. M Reestr is YUKOS' registrar. The Russian Federal Court Bailiffs' Service is enacting the court's decision regarding the recovery of RUR99bn (about $3.4bn) in unpaid taxes from YUKOS. The Russian Federal Court Bailiffs' Service initiated legal proceedings against YUKOS for the failure to comply with a court order (Article 315 of the Russian Criminal Code). Officers of the Russian Interior Ministry held searches in the headquarters of M Reestr on July 7. However, the company denied any information on searches.

It is worth mentioning that M Reestr has stopped keeping the registers of YUKOS' wholly owned subsidiaries, namely Samareneftegaz, Yuganskneftegaz and Tomskneft.
