Russian Scientists Represent Their Projects in Harbin

Far Eastern scientists will represent their research projects at the Russian High Technologies exhibition, which has opened in Harbin. The international department of the Russian Academy of Sciences' Far Eastern branch reported that most projects had been displayed by the Chemistry Institute of Vladivostok.

The Institute's scientists exhibit 10 projects ready for practical use. Among them are: "Creation of the Centre For the Production of Solar Water Heaters", "Development Of the Efficient Ecologically-Friendly Technology for Receiving Tungsten Alloys," and several agricultural projects.

It is expected that following the exhibition a number of practical steps will be taken, for instance, the organisation of joint production.

The Russian Academy of Sciences branch has concluded 23 agreements with its Chinese partners on cooperation in various fields - exchange of scientific delegations and training of post-graduates.
