Preparation of Russia-Belarus Union's documents almost finished

The documents for introducing the ruble as the single currency to circulate in Russia and Belarus starting on January 1, 2005, are almost ready, Belarusian Prime Minister Sergey Sidorsky announced at a meeting of the council of ministers of the Russia-Belarus Union. In particular, according to Sidorsky, preparation of a document on indirect taxation was virtually completed. "Today we will take it for a final discussion in order to include it on the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Russia-Belarus Union", the official specified.
