President of Chechnya Akhmad Kadyrov buried

The funeral of President of Chechnya Akhmad Kadyrov, who died in a terrorist act in the Chechen capital, Grozny, was held on Monday.

The mourning ceremony took place at a cemetery in Tsentoroi, the native village of Akhmad Kadyrov. It was attended by a few thousand people, including chairman of the Government of Chechnya Sergei Abramov, who temporarily acts as the head of the republic, and the chief of a number of regions of the North Caucasus and southern Russia. Representatives of the clergy of Chechnya and the neighboring regions arrived in Tsentoroi.

Today mourning ceremonies are held also in Itum-Kala in the south of Chechnya, where Hussein Isayev, Chairman of the State Council of Chechnya, who had died in the terrorist act in Grozny, was buried.

In keeping with Islamic traditions, the mourning will last three days.

An explosive device was set off Sunday morning at the Dynamo Stadium in Grozny during the celebrations of the WWII Victory Day. Six persons, President of the Chechen Republic Akhmad Kadyrov among them, were killed in the explosion, and 63 people were wounded. At present over 20 of those injured remain in hospitals.

The Trump administration is looking for a replacement for the American military contingent in the north of Syria. If the United States agrees with Saudi Arabia, the situation in the south of the country will become a lot more intense as Iran and Israel stand on the brink of war

Iran strongly determined to fight for Golan Heights

These armchair generals who come on talk shows or give their opinions as to the capabilities of various military weapons systems are doing no more than inflating their own self image and generating circulation for the news agencies
