Powerful explosive device defused near dwelling house in St. Petersburg

A powerful explosive device was defused near a dwelling house in St. Petersburg.

Policemen discovered the explosive device, made of 0.4 kilograms of TNT and an electric detonator, in a transformer sub-station box near the house number 43 in Marshal Zhukov Prospekt, the St. Petersburg Main Interior Affairs Department told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

Bomb squad experts defused the device and took it in a special place for liquidation. The law enforcement bodies of St. Petersburg are carrying out the investigation.
