Admixtures in the Moscow air two times the normal level

The admixtures of the Moscow air that cause the smoke have reached the level two times the admissible concentration. If the admissible concentration is 1,5-1,6 mg/cub m, then on Tuesday morning the level reached 3,5 mg/cub m, some days it amounted to 6mg/cub m.

On Tuesday deputy director of the Mosecomonitoring State Nature Protection enterprise Yevgenia Semutnikova told RIA Novosti that the registered fluctuation of contaminants in the atmosphere relates to air masses struggle.

Semutnikova says that the powerful anticyclone prevailing in the region is receding, being replaced by the air masses bringing some relief. They led to the lowering of the contaminants to the admissible concentration overnight.

Speaking about some contaminants, the ecologist said that the carbon monoxide has leveled down to the admissible concentration, but has not reached it.
