Vladimir Putin has called on deputies of the State Duma of the fourth convocation to take heed of their predecessors' mistakes.
At his meeting with faction and association leaders from the third Duma, the Russian president noted that some things had not been done, above all the problem of the chaotic law-making activities had not been solved.
At the same time, Putin is not inclined to think that the parliament was to be blamed for this. "The executive branch is responsible for delays in drafting laws and inarticulate reaction to deputies' remarks. The new Duma should take this into consideration," said the president.
