On May 11 President Putin visited Chechen capital Grozny. "Today I spent the first half of the day in Grozny. Some issues need prompt reaction”, said Vladimir Putin. He said that he had gave the Star of Hero of Russia to the family of Akhmad Kadyrov and Banner of Courage to the widow of Chairman of Chechnya State Council Hussein Isaev. In addition, President Putin visited wounded Commander of the Troops in the Northern Caucasus region Valery Baranov in the hospital. "His life is not in critical condition. He is in cheerful mood. I am glad about this", said the President. "No way anybody can stop the process of restoration of Chechen republic”, he finished. Vladimir Putin signed the decree of commemorating the memories of Akhmad Kadyrov and told Russian government to send a group of officials to discuss the issue of aid to Chechnya. The trip of Russian President in Chechnya is an extraordinary event. Such symbolic gestures as awarding the killed pro-Russian officials, contribute significantly to "the process of restoration of Chechen republic”. Chechens will remember this deed of President Putin. Kadyrov was killed because he supported Russia, and his followers should understand that Russia considers them not as puppets, but as heroes.
