Blair prays, Putin determined to visit America

The plane that crashed in New York today was delayed by more than 30 minutes at the Kennedy airport. This was reported by RIA Novosti. The reason for the delay are not yet known. American Airlines, the owner of the crashed plane, set up an emergency phone line: 1-800-245-0999. According to eyewitness, one of the engines fell off the plane while flying and the plane crashed in Queens. New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani is on the site of the tragedy. There is still no air traffic at the airport.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair released a statement in connection with the tragedy. He said that his “thoughts and prayers” were with the American people and with the relatives of those who died in the crash. The Russian president’s press-secretary, Aleksey Gromov, said that Vladimir Putin had already been informed on the catastrophe, but he did not change his mind to leave for America, so Putin’s visit to the States has not been cancelled. Putin himself said that the visit would take place, like it had been planned before.
