Two Russian journalists released in Ukraine

Journalists Maxim Vasilenko and Yevgenia Koroleva, who went missing in Ukraine, were released. The journalists are heading to the Crimea.

According to RIA Novosti, correspondents of the Crimean Telegraph, Maxim Vasilenko, and Yevgenia Koroleva, who were previously detained by Right Sector militants in the Donetsk region, have been released and sent to the Crimea.

According to regional representative of the "Crimean Field Mission on Human Rights" Andrei Krisko, "late last night, Right Sector militants delivered the journalists to the police. The journalists were subsequently released. Yevgenia Koroleva had a telephone conversation with her close friend, in which she said that they were all right, and on Tuesday morning they were going to return home to the Crimea," he said.

UPDATE: According to most recent reports, the journalists have not been released yet. As of 1:20 p.m. MSK, Yevgenia Koroleva called her sister Oksana and said that they had not been released. However, Yevgenia said, she was hoping that she and her colleague would be released later during the day.

The whereabouts of the journalists remains unknown, vesti.ru reports.
