The Organizing Committee for the VIII International Forum of Information Technologies ITFORUM 2020/Consolidation gathered for its first meeting in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The forum, one of the biggest events in the field, will be held on April 15-17 of this year in Nizhny Novgorod and Sarov. Organizers hope that they will be able to bring together federal and regional authorities, information technology industries, representatives of the socio-economic sphere, universities and citizens to jointly search for solutions to various problems using information technology. Representatives of several federal agencies have already confirmed their participation in the forum.
"Every year, the number of participants of our forum grows, and we hope that this year the number of participants is going to be high too. The forum has always been known for bringing together a record number of regions, allowing us to compete with major events in Moscow," the Minister for Information Technology, Communications and Media of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Sergei Kuchin said.
