Missing US journalist found in Chechnya

American journalist Rebecca Santana who was considered missing in the North Caucasus has been found in Chechnya. She simply violated the rules of foreign correspondents' stay in the area, the information department of the Russian president quoted law-enforcers as saying.

Rebecca Santana of the Cox Newspapers agency did not notify either the US embassy in Moscow or Russian departments responsible for security of foreign journalists in the North Caucasus about her trip from North Ossetia to Chechnya. According to the Kremlin spokesman, she thereby violated the rules.
