Fradkov appoints heads of 12 federal services and agencies

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov has appointed heads of 12 federal services and agencies, the government information department reported.

In particular, the premier made five appointments in the structures of the Industry and Energy Ministry.

Sergei Oganesyan, the former Vice President of the Rosneft and Sakhalinneftegaz companies, was appointed head of the Federal Energy Agency.

Andrei Malyshev, who headed a similar structure in the previous government, became head of the Federal Atomic Supervision Service.

Alexander Rumyantsev, the ex-Minister of Atomic Energy, was appointed head of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency.

Former Space Troops commander Anatoly Perminov was appointed head of the Federal Space Agency.

Former Vice Premier Boris Alyoshin was appointed head of the Federal Industry Agency.

Three appointments were made in the structures of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry.

Former chairman of the State Statistics Committee Vladimir Sokolin was appointed head of the Federal State Statistics Service.

Former chairman of the State Reserves Committee was appointed head of the Federal State Reserves Agency.

Valery Nazarov was appointed head of the Federal Property Management Agency.

Two appointments were made in the Health and Social Development Ministry.

Former First Deputy Health Minister Gennady Onishchenko was appointed head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Protection of Consumers' Rights and Prosperity.

Former chairman of the State Sports Committee Vyacheslav Fetisov was appointed head of the Federal Agency for Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Igor Artemyev will head the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service.

Former First Deputy Agriculture Minister Sergei Dankvert was appointed head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phyto-sanitary Supervision.
