Novosibirsk Governor to visit China

Novosibirsk Governor Viktor Tolokonsky will visit China on June 13-17th within a governmental delegation headed by Vice-Premier Viktor Khristenko.

The Russian delegation will participate in the largest international exhibition to be held in Harbin on June 15-21. This 13th economic forum will be attended by delegates from 63 countries.

The Novosibirsk region delegation will include the heads of 33 industrial enterprises, representatives of universities and research institutes.

According to experts, the participation of Novosibirsk residents in this significant event will promote the production of Siberian enterprises at the international market and, in the first place, in the Asia-Pacific region, and attract foreign investment.

During his working trip, Viktor Tolokonsky will meet members of the Chinese government, representatives of financial and business circles, and staffers of Harbin polytechnical institute.
